The World Food Program will expand Food for Work Program in 2011 in Kyrgyzstan. The Program will support rehabilitation of rural infrastructure, improvement of agricultural production, prevention of natural disasters.WFP Country Director Rasmus Egendal said the Program will be particularly important this year over soaring food prices.The Food for Work Program started with rehabilitation of the irrigation canal of Kara-Suu rayon, Osh oblast - Uvam - in 2011.
