SA: New Democrats president in SA
ADELAIDE, Aug 14 AAP - The Australian Democrats have elected a new president in SouthAustralia at the party's annual meeting.
Cathi Tucker-Lee has taken over from South Australian Upper House MP Ian Gilfillan.
Currently employed as an adviser to SA Democrat MP Sandra Kanck, Ms Tucker-Lee saidher new position would be a challenge.
"There is an enormous task ahead to rebuild our voter base in South Australia," shesaid in a statement today.
"We're a volunteer organisation and it takes the contributions of a lot of people tomake it all happen."
