NSW: Premier waiting to hear on status of Koperberg inquiry
NSW Premier MORRIS IEMMA says he's waiting to hear if police have completed a preliminary
investigation .. into allegations high profile frontbencher PHIL KOPERBERG bashed his
ex-wife and her daughter.
But he says he won't conduct a running commentary on Mr KOPERBERG'S future .. while
the police investigation's underway.
Mr Koperberg last week stood down as NSW minister for climate change and the environment
.. after details of an affidavit lodged 20 years ago in the Family Court were made public.
Mr KOPERBERG .. the Member for Blue Mountains .. has denied hitting his former wife
and step-daughter but admitted it was a turbulent time.
